Join Whitehorse artist Nicole Bauberger where we explore ways to make decorations using clean coloured or silver film plastic from the household waste stream.
In this workshop we will focus on:
1. Nicole will share her basic film plastic collage technique. You can build a composition onto cardboard to send as a handmade holiday postcard, or use it a painting technique to make something special for a wall, or as a tree ornament.
2. Use this technique to make “gift cards”. You can gift these as part of a service -- or experience-style gift: gift card worth one driveway shovelling, gift card worth one neck massage, etc.
3. Learn a basic garland technique with the tougher silvery plastic of dog and cat food bags.
4. Sky’s the limit! Nicole will share tools and techniques for working with these materials and would love to support you in creating!
